If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts! The SSI Open Water Diver Certification is globally recognised and will allow you to dive to 18m anywhere in the world!

It is still the awesome course we always provide, however for the Winter Special we will only do 4 x Shore Dives - NO BOAT DIVES

Course structure

  • After booking you will receive a registration link for the SSI platform. Your Online Learning must be completed before arriving to begin your practical training.
  • Friday 5:30pm - Orientation and Theory Exam
  • Saturday 7:30am – Pool Training and Beach Dive
  • Sunday 8:00am – Beach dives 


    • Important information

    • This course is designed for beginners, no scuba experience necessary!
    • All participants must complete a Medical Questionnaire prior to the course and seek clearance from a medical practitioner if necessary
    • Minimum age 12 years (parent or guardian consent required for participants under 18 years)
    • Mask, snorkel, boots, and fins are not provided. Please see our friendly staff for assistance with selecting appropriate equipment
    • You must be able to swim 200m without stopping. There is no time limit for this and you may use any swimming stroke(s) you want
    • You must be able to float or tread water for 10 minutes, again using any method(s) you want
    • Your own transport is required to course locations
