SSI Divemaster Course - Adreno Perth

Start Your Professional Carreer As A SSI Divemaster!!

The Divemaster program is the first step on an exciting journey. Learn to safely lead certified divers in various environments and conditions. By giving dive briefings, doing site evaluations, and leading dives, you will become a confident Divemaster in no time. You will work closely with your instructors to expand your diving skills and knowledge as you follow them while they lead other courses. Practice supervising diving activities and assisting with student training and practice supervising diving activities and assisting with student training.

DIVEMASTER COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

• 18 years old 
• Have logged at least 40 dives (60 on the day of certification)
• Rescue Diver Certification
• Have a dive medical for scuba diving not older than 1 year and signed by a licensed medical practitioner
• First aid and O2 provider done in the last 12 months ( can be organized with Adreno
  for an extra fee)

Course structure (conditions dependent, subject to change)

Your course will go over several weeks and will be split into several sections with both self study and closely working with your instructors.

The sections are:

• Theory - Self studying plus classroom session and exams
• Water fitness and skills workshop - Water fitness evaluation and skills evaluation
• Rescue simulation - Complete a rescue scenario
• Dive guide evaluation - Conduct various dives from start to finish for certified divers
• Mapping project - Create a detailed dive map
• Assist your instructors on their various courses

Required equipment (not included)

• Mask, snorkel, fins and boots
• Torch, reel + SMB and compass
• BCD, Wetsuit, regulator and computer

Important information

• Your own transport for you and your equipment is required to course locations
• Cylinders and weights can be rented if needed
