Sidemount diving is already common practice for wreck, mine, and cave divers, but now the benefits are being discovered by more recreational divers. With no heavy tank on your back, you’ll be more comfortable in the water and find your streamlining and trim improve effortlessly. By using less energy you may reduce your gas consumption so you can make the most of your dive time. With better buoyancy control, easier access to your valves and more redundancy as well, sidemount diving offers safety and peace of mind. You learn all the skills and knowledge you need to safely and comfortably dive with a two-cylinder sidemount equipment configuration.

Course structure (conditions dependent, subject to change)

• Friday 5:30pm - Orientation 
• Saturday 7:30am - Pool Session
• Sunday 8:00am - Open Water Sessions

Required equipment (not included)

• Mask, snorkel, fins and boots
• Sidemount BCD and weights, Wetsuit, regulator and computer, cylinders

Important information

• Advanced Adventurer Certification required
• All participants must complete a Medical Questionnaire prior to the course and seek clearance from a medical practitioner if necessary
• Parent or guardian consent required for participants under 18 years
• Your own transport for you and your equipment is required to course locations
