SSI Deep Diving Course - Adreno Melbourne

New Depths Bring New Challenges!

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you all you need to dive to depths between 18 and 40 meters. You will learn to plan and safely complete your deep diving adventures and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most from your deep dives. Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification and be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose. This SSI Specialty is also a prerequisite for some advanced training, making it the next logical step to take in your dive education.

Inclusions

• Online learning (done in your own time at your pace)
• Academic session  
• One shore dive
• Two boat dives
• SSI Digital Kit and SSI Digital Certification

Course structure (conditions dependent - subject to change)

• Your online learning must be completed prior to arriving to begin your first day of this course
• Saturday - Paperwork . theory discussion + exam + one shore dive
• Sunday - Two boat dives 

Required equipment (not included)

• Scuba quality mask, snorkel, fins and boots
• Torch, compass, slate, SMB and reel
• BCD and weights, wetsuit, regulator and computer, cylinder (available for hire)

Important information

• Minimum age 15 years + Advanced Adventurer Certification required
• All participants must complete a medical questionnaire prior to the course and seek clearance from a medical practitioner if necessary
• Parent or guardian consent required for participants under 18 years
• Your own transport for you and your equipment is required to and from course locations
